The Jubilee Room in the Palace of Westminster was the perfect location for the CCF Vision Evening as this where the very first CCF event was held in Parliament. It was wonderful to learn from David Burrowes’ mum, Mary, about that first evening which she attended and personally provided all the catering. David Burrowes MP gave a short history of the CCF and together with Tim Montgomerie cut a special anniversary cake and raised a toast to the CCF. On Friday 15th until Sunday 17th January the Under 35s Development Course held its second weekend away at Hothorpe Hall, Leicestershire. The “World Cafe” session with Jill Garrett was a particularly brilliant experience as it provided a tool for learning how to bring everyone’s opinions together and create clear objectives.
